Not all services are reimbursed from the social medical insurances. For this reason, there are the individual heath procedures, so that you receive the examinations you need.Please ask us for additional information concerning the possibilities and additional cost.
IGeL: Individual Health Procedures/Services
Those insured by social medical insurance receive all necessary medical services, which are stipulated by the government. These services must be adequate, appropriate and economical and are not allowed to exceed a measure of necessity. In order that you can still get the examinations and diagnostics that are important for you, IGel was initiated. You may choose these services according to your own needs. They are not covered by the social medical insurance, so that you are not able to have them paid for with use of your health insurance card. Rather, you receive a bill that is calculated according to the cost schedule for medical services (GOÄ)
